What is included in my subscription package?

No matter what plan you choose, every option comes standard with vehicle maintenance, servicing, registration, and roadside assistance. Plus, a free vehicle swap after 120 days when you subscribe to a Mid or High plan!

How long can I subscribe to the car?

We offer long-term car subscriptions with no end date contracts! If your vehicle needs a change, let us know and we can provide more suitable vehicle options.

What if my circumstances change?

Life changes, so let us change with you. Growing your family, embarking on an exciting new career or just don’t want the financial commitment of buying a new car? From smaller runabouts to premium SUVs, we offer a range of vehicles and packages to suit your changing lifestyle – although if your circumstances change, you can cancel your subscription with 21 days' notice.

What do I need to get subscribed?

To complete a subscription application you will require your drivers license and a valid form of payment! We accept Mastercard and Visa Debit/Credit Cards and American Express. A refundable Security Deposit of 1,000AUD is payable at time of application and is refunded upon safe return of the vehicle.

How does a car subscription compare to a car lease?

There are no long-term commitments or contracts locking you to the car.

You are only charged for as long as you want the vehicle and can return it or swap it when your needs change. There is no need to worry about car financing or refinancing, depreciation or ongoing fees such as vehicle maintenance, servicing, registration, insurance, roadside assistance and warranty.

Is car subscription tax deductible?

A car subscription is classified as an operating expense, so if you are a business or individual using your vehicle for business or work purposes, you may be eligible to claim your car subscription fee payments come tax time.

Can I subscribe to East Coast Subscriptions?

To verify as eligible you will need to have a current Australian or international Drivers License, a valid debit or credit card, and be over 21 years of age.

Can I still subscribe to a car if I am not pre-approved for a car loan?

Yes! It’s a car, without the long-term commitment. No need for pre-approved car loans, car loan refinance or novated lease. Just one weekly, fortnightly or monthly payment and the rest is taken care of, allowing you to get back on the road, in a more flexible and affordable way.

Are there other ongoing costs for a car subscription?

All you need to pay for is fuel or recharging of the vehicle and tolls. Infringements are also the responsibility of the driver.

Can I add additional KMs / mileage?

Of course! We have a range of Plan options to suit your needs, and the ability to add Kilometre Booster Packs as you need them.

From low kilometre plans for the more economical driver designed to get you from A to B, to packages for those travelling further distances looking for peace of mind, and accidental damage coverage.

Can I add an additional driver?

Yes! You have the option to add additional drivers to your subscription at time of application or with the team afterwards. Decide to go on a road trip later? Add an additional driver as you need.

Where can I pick up my subscription car?

We have 14 conveniently located branches across Australia at city and airport locations, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Brisbane Airport, Cairns, Gold Coast, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Melbourne Airport, Newcastle, Perth, Sunshine Coast and Sydney.

What is Loopit?

Loopit is a mobility management solution that provides a secure payment portal for car subscription models. East Coast Subscriptions has joined the Loopit network, where we will manage your subscription and ongoing payments via the Loopit management software system.

Is a credit check or employment verification required?

We do not require a credit check or employment verification to complete an East Coast Subscriptions application. You just need your Australian Drivers Licence (or international licence and passport) and a valid debit or credit card to complete an application.

Can I have more than one driver?

The main registered driver is covered by the insurance of the car.

Additional drivers can be added to your subscription for $7.00/per week. This can be done at the time of selecting a package or at a later date.
